Enroll/Cost

All registered College of Osteopathic Medicine Students are automatically enrolled in the plan, unless proof of comparable coverage is provided.  Dependent enrollment is available for College of Osteopathic Medicine Students.

For the 2025-2026 policy year, Sam Houston State University has been upgraded to the latest release of the AHP student health insurance platform.

An account will be created for you and information will be sent to your @shsu.edu email address. Your current username and password will not work on the upgraded platform for the 2025-2026 policy year.

Click the button below to Enroll a Dependent to your Student Health Insurance Plan. Premium will be paid directly to AHP.

Click the button below to Enroll in Medical Insurance if you meet the requirements of a Qualifying Event. After logging into your account, please click on the menu icon in the top left corner and select Qualifying Event.
